Grounded in Thailand.
Built on Clarity.
We help individuals and professionals in Bangkok make sense of financial language, healthcare costs, and the money side of major life decisions.
Back to HomeWhy Klyros Exists
Klyros was founded in Bangkok by a small group of educators who kept encountering the same problem: smart, capable people who froze when financial topics came up — not because they lacked intelligence, but because no one had ever explained things in plain terms that fit their actual lives.
The name draws on the idea of a crest line — the ridge between uncertainty below and perspective above. Our work is about helping people reach that ridge, where financial matters become readable, not intimidating.
We focus on three areas where financial clarity makes a measurable difference: professional terminology, healthcare cost planning, and preparing financially for a career break. Each program is built around the realities of living and working in Thailand.
Mission
To make financial thinking accessible for people who never received a proper introduction to it — through honest, pressure-free education that respects their time and intelligence.
Our Approach
We teach concepts in context. Every session is shaped by the client's actual situation — their profession, their location, their upcoming decisions. We don't teach to a script.
Our Promise
We do not sell financial products. We do not earn commissions. Our only interest is in helping you understand — which means our guidance is shaped entirely by your situation, not ours.
Who You'll Work With
Our educators combine backgrounds in finance, adult education, and cross-cultural communication — a combination well suited to Bangkok's diverse professional community.

How We Keep the Work Honest
These aren't policies we display for appearance. They shape how every session is designed and delivered.
No Product Sales
Klyros never earns referral fees or commissions. We do not recommend specific financial products, insurers, or advisors. Our role is educational, full stop.
Client Data Privacy
Session content and personal information shared by clients is held in strict confidence. We comply with Thailand's PDPA and apply consistent data handling practices.
Transparent Program Scope
What's included in each program is clearly stated before you commit. Session count, materials, and format are all confirmed in writing in advance.
Contextual Accuracy
All program content is reviewed to reflect current conditions in Thailand — relevant insurance structures, local cost benchmarks, and applicable regulations.
Accessible Language
We write and speak plainly. Technical terms are introduced carefully, defined clearly, and never used to obscure meaning or impress.
Ongoing Material Updates
Worksheets, checklists, and reference guides are updated when relevant changes occur — so what you receive reflects the current landscape, not outdated figures.
Financial Education in Bangkok's Professional Landscape
Bangkok's workforce spans a wide range of industries — finance, hospitality, manufacturing, technology, health, and the international development sector. Across all of them, professionals frequently encounter financial terminology and decisions that their formal education never addressed. Corporate accountants understand their own domain; the marketing manager sitting across from them may not have the vocabulary to follow.
Healthcare cost planning has become a particularly pressing area in Thailand. The country's private health sector is extensive and varied, and navigating insurance structures, premium comparisons, and out-of-pocket cost estimates requires a specific kind of knowledge that most people only acquire through expensive trial and error — or a health event they weren't prepared for financially.
The career break conversation is growing among Bangkok's professional community as well. More people are choosing deliberate pauses — for personal projects, family reasons, or simply a change in direction. The financial side of this decision is often the most anxiety-inducing part. Understanding what a real financial runway looks like, and how to prepare for re-entry, changes the nature of that decision entirely.
Klyros's approach draws on adult education methods that emphasise applied learning over theoretical frameworks. We build sessions around your specific situation, your actual documents, and your genuine questions — not a standardised curriculum that assumes a financial baseline you may not have.
